MEMBERSHIP
Ukrainian
Selfreliance FCU is a full service, federal credit union. It was
established to meet the needs of a specific group of people and
therefore provides this group with the benefits of credit union
membership. These benefits are passed on to its membership in the
forms of higher dividends and lower interest rates on loans.
Membership is limited to individuals of Ukrainian
descent and spouses of Ukrainians.
An account may be opened as an individual
account, with or without joint owners. Custodian accounts are also
available. Organizations and businesses may also open
accounts.
Individual member deposits are insured up to
$100,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an
agency of the US Government. Husbands and wives may have insured
accounts totaling $500,000. Our member services personnel will be
happy to provide additional information about this federal
insurance. USFCU also provides each member with up to $3,000 of free
life insurance based on the member's age at the time of
deposit.
